偷窺者(Peeping Tom)

小十三星瓢蟲體長約6 ∼ 9.5公釐，體背為橙黃色至橙紅色，前胸背板下緣的中央有一個雙峰型的黑色斑紋，小盾板為黑色，鞘翅為橙紅色，翅上共有13個黑色圓斑。個體間的差異，除蟲體背部底色外，黑色斑紋的變化極小。低海拔地區常見，為肉食性昆蟲，成蟲及幼蟲皆以蚜蟲為食，是農民的好朋友。這對恩愛的小十三星瓢蟲正努力完成傳宗接代的任務，下面那隻鬼蛛像是不識相的偷窺者，正虎視眈眈地覬覦這可口的食物。

The Harmonia dimidiata ladybug is about 6-9.5mm in length and yellowish to reddish orange in color. Along the margins of the pronotum are black, double peaked markings. The scutellum is black, while the eletrya (forewings) are reddish orange. On the elytra are 13 black spots with some variation. However, there is little change in the pattern along the margins. This species is common in lowlands. It is a carnivorous insect. Both adults and larvae feed on aphids, making them beneficial to farmers. This pair is mating. The Araneus spider below is like peeping Tom, gazing on and waiting for its next meal.
