Ingenious Power Type

Diverse and colorful appearance of creatures can not only please human eyes and spirit, but also an indicator of human well-being and a key to future sustainability. Recent studies indicated that some animals, breaking taxonomical boundaries, develop various ways to obtain energy for living, or drive particular functions and mechanisms.

Ninja Type—Extremophiles

From the perspectives of human being, it is difficult to imagine that the life can thrive in the harsh environments of the Earth.

Extremophiles refers to the active life can survive in extreme environments, including extreme temperatures (cold and hot) and pH values (acid and alkaline), high salinity, high radiation, hypoxia, heavy metal concentrations, etc. While exploring outer space, their super powers can come in handy.

Super Vision Type—Beyond Eyes

Animal eyes are key sensory organs for survival. Since the Cambrian trilobite compound eye fossils traced up to 500 million years ago, animals have shown us diverse eye types along the evolution. One animal may equip two, four, eight, or even 24 eyes on them. The ways animals sensing the world are sometimes beyond our imagination. They employ camera eyes, nose tips, ears, or even mineral crystals to construct their sensory world.

Parasitoid Type

Material cycles in Nature prompt the cycles of life. Some species, however, proceed their life cycles by exploiting another life alive. With highly specific behaviors and strategies, these paranoid parasites turn the host flesh into fresh cradles for their offspring.

Camouflage Type

No matter the hunter or the prey, being invisible is a great advantage in the war of survival. Any characters, transparent body or color patterns blending well with the background, are favored and preserved in the evolutionary selection.
