.陳星諭-M81‧M82：波德與雪茄星系 
(Bode and Cigar Galaxy)

圖左是M81波德星系，右邊是M82雪茄星系，兩者同位於大熊座，屬距離本星系群最近的星系集團。兩者或多或少有絲狀的感覺，是因和NGC3077星系間有著劇烈的交互作用，造成三個星系都剝離了氫氣體。M82星系中有顆超新星爆炸過，屬Ia型的超新星，在距地球如此近處算是罕見。

The picture on the left is the M81 Bode galaxy and the one on the right is the Cigar galaxy. They are both located in the constellation Ursa Major. Situated closest to the local galaxy, they both contain filament like dust and their violent interaction with NGC3077 has resulted in the stripping of hydrogen for all three galaxies. The M82, a rarity in the skies above has experienced a type la supernova.
