.牛洋-生命的觸手 ( Tentacles of Life)

傳粉過程係植物有性生殖的重要環節。花粉落置於柱頭表面之後，萌生的花粉管如同觸手一般將雄配子送入子房，使胚珠受孕。這一過程可藉由螢光染色的方式在顯微鏡下呈現在人們眼前。星星點點的藍色螢光、搖曳的花粉粒和花粉形成了一幅如夢似幻的畫面。

Pollinationis an important step in the sexual reproduction of flowering plants.  Once the pollen lands on the stigma, it germinates and its pollen tube grows down the style to the ovary, enabling the ovule to fertilize. This pollen was fluorescent stained then placed under the microscope for viewing. The sparkling blue fluorescent light and swaying pollen creates a dreamy image.
