( Spendid Lights of the Ocean)

水母在水中舞動，閃耀著絢爛的光芒，令人看得目不轉睛。這隻五卷須金黃刺水母正散發著銀白色的光芒，優雅地舞著，非常美麗。水母能夠發光，是因為一種叫埃奎明的蛋白質；這種蛋白質遇到鈣離子，就會發出藍色強光。據科學家研究，每一隻水母體內大約含有50毫克的發光蛋白質。

It’s hard to take your eyes off the radiant dancing jellyfish. This Chrusaora quinquecirrha jellyfish is gracefully flashing an argenate colored light as it dances.  The reason for jellyfish being luminescent is due to a protein called aequarin within their bodies. When the aequarin proteins encounter calcium ion, they react and sends out a powerful blue glow. According to research, there are about 50 mg of luminescent proteins in every jellyfish.
