(The Dance of  Leeches)

The tropical rainforests with its high humidity and significant amount of rainfall contains the largest diversity of species. Leeches have always been the vermin for both wild animals and explorers alike. Their vampire-like image makes them extremely unpopular. The leech is a annelid equipped with reproductive organs of both sexes. Happened to chance upon two tiger leeches in the process of courtship. Like a duet they dance on a green stage with the front parts of their bodies intertwining and swaying rhythmically. The distinct soft and extendable body gives them the very capability to attach themselves to other animals.
