( Responsibility: Bit by Bit)

Whenever life is brought into this world, it is already heading towards death. Yet, what responsibility and obligation should one fulfill before death? Humans can probably only rely on education, hopes and experiences of others to seek the meaning of life. How about insects? After millions of years of evolution, their whole rule of life is already programmed into their genetics. This is called behavioral genetics. It is just like mini robots with a range of knowledge programmed into them; and their ultimate task is also the same as everyone else: reproduction. So what makes the males want to provide “after service” in protecting the eggs after they mate? Only they will know.
