.王釩-冰解 (Ice Thaw Experiment)

冰在水中溶解，這是再普通不過的事，溶解時是甚麼模樣呢？本作品將有色冰塊放入水中，記錄溶解之瞬間。融化的冰塊因冷熱對流作用快速的向四周擴散，模樣就像艷麗的火焰，冰冷與熱炙竟然那麼相似，一言以蔽之，這就是物理現象。我們周遭事物只要細細觀察，都能夠發現其中奧秘。

Haveyou ever wondered what something as simple as ice melting in water might look like?  This work captured the immediate effect of a colored ice cube melting in the water.  Through convective heat transfer, the melting ice expands and spreads out rapidly like the burning hot flame.  It’s astonishing to see the similarity between hot and cold.  To sum up in words, it is truly a phenomenon of physics.  By carefully observing its environment, one will unravel the mystery within.
